Puppy Adoption
Since we began we have spent a tremendous amount of time growing a breeding program that truly stands out.
- A commitment to health and wellness
- Abundance of individual attention
- An array of introductions to family life
- A Successful transition to their forever homes
- A lifetime commitment
Our program is premier in every way - it's extensive, detailed, and thorough. We have you covered from start to finish!
We raise your puppy in our home.We allow mum and puppies to naturally wean rather than the normal rigid 8-week timeline. This allows a more natural detachment for mum and for puppies to become independent with the stress. This also helps later on to reduce the stress when you take your new puppy into your family homes, they will not be dependent on mum.
All our puppies are given a minium of two full weeks away from mum before going to their new homes. This allows for additional training, socialization, and development. This also allows us the monitor the puppies on their independence journey to ensure they are ready for the transition to their new homes. We begin the journey to potty training embedding the early training before they move home.
We focus heavily on health and nutrition. All our dogs are fed specific to their dietary requirements and we monitor this closely with our puppies to ensure that they are all gaining weight in the early weeks. All our puppies are transitioned fully onto solid food independant of mums milk for a minimum of two weeks before they go to their new homes and we monitor their weight gain closely during this period.
We invite you to come meet our puppies, by appointment, to ensure the breed and temperment is right for your family.
Your puppy will see our Vet for a full physicals and their first set of vaccinations around 7-8 weeks of age. All of that paperwork will be in their go-home folder when they leave. All our puppies are microchipped by our vet on their visit and registered with either the IKC or Fido, and we complete the change of ownership section of the certificates on collection of your puppy.
On collection of you puppy you will need to bring a secure transport crate for your puppy to travel back in your car, we would recommend buying a crate that is big enough for you puppy when full grown as they dont stay small for long and will grow out of a puppy crate quite quickly if bought specifically. It is also worth thinking about having the basics in place before you bring home your puppy; such as food & water bowls, doggie bed, chew toys, etc. We will provide food to keep you going for the first couple of weeks until you choose your preferred brand.
We are always available even after your puppy is home and we love receiving updates and photos of your puppies progress
