Cockapoos Maintenance
Maintenance for a Cockapoo puppy will depend on the type of coat it inherits from its parent breeds. Cocker Spaniels tend to shed more than Poodles, so a Cockapoo’s coat may be wavy or curly and typically low to non-shedding. Regular grooming is essential to prevent tangles and matting, especially for those with curlier coats. Brushing should be done several times a week, or even daily for thicker, denser fur. Their nails should also be trimmed regularly to avoid discomfort and overgrowth. Additionally, Cockapoo puppies will need their coats trimmed every few months to keep them looking neat and to maintain a comfortable length.
